SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) apply to text messages sent and received between you and RJT Motorist Services, Inc. (“RJT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your phone number when requesting service from RJT, you agree to these SMS Terms.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

RJT operates an SMS messaging program to keep our customers informed about the services they have requested. Messages you may receive include:

  • Dispatch confirmations when a driver is assigned to your service
  • ETA updates when your driver is en route
  • Cancellation confirmations
  • Repair shop status updates (diagnostic complete, repair in progress, vehicle ready for pickup)
  • Additional repair authorization requests
  • Service completion notices

You will not receive marketing or promotional messages through this program. All messages are transactional and related to services you have requested.

OPT-IN

You consent to receive SMS messages from RJT when you provide your phone number to us in connection with a service request. Service requests may be made by phone call, in person at our facility, through our website contact form, or through our scheduling system.

Your verbal acknowledgement during a phone call with our dispatch system that we will send you text updates also constitutes consent.

MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency varies depending on the service activity associated with your account. You can typically expect one to five messages per service request. During an active repair, you may receive additional messages as your vehicle progresses through service.

OPT-OUT

You may opt out of SMS messages from RJT at any time by replying STOP to any message we have sent you. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and you will not receive further messages unless you re-subscribe.

CARRIERS AND CHARGES

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless plan. RJT is not responsible for any wireless carrier fees you incur as a result of receiving messages from us. RJT is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

PRIVACY

Your phone number and SMS interactions are governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.rjtauto.com/privacy-policy/. We do NOT share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
